Essence Lorraine is a 20-year-old actress with a passion for storytelling that runs deep. With experience in television, commercial, theater, and print, she’s built a reputation for being grounded, emotionally present, and fully committed to every role she takes on. Directors and collaborators often describe her as reliable, prepared, and a true pleasure to work with.

Often called a “ball of light,” Essence brings a kind, funny, and deeply compassionate energy to everything she does, both on and off screen. She has a unique blend of sensitivity, strength, and sharp comedic timing that allows her to move effortlessly between heartfelt drama and lighthearted humor. Before pursuing acting, Essence was a dedicated soccer player. Now a BFA acting student at Pace University, she is drawn to stories that create real connections, especially as a Black actress committed to breaking stereotypical guidelines and expanding the narratives around Black characters—showcasing the full range of everyday lives, joys, and complexities.

When she’s not acting or studying her craft, Essence loves walking her dog, spending time in nature, and anything pasta-related. Her warmth, empathy, and joyful spirit make her a light in every room.
